Stanislav Samuel Raska (1992) is a Czech accordionist, composer, improviser and teacher.

He studied Percussion, Jazz Piano and Accordion in a conservatory of the Czech Republic. He learned from musicians abroad, such as Jytte von Rüden (Denmark), Gary Blair (Scotland) and Natalino Marchetti (Italy). He has performed in concerts in the Czech Republic as well as in other countries (Scotland, Ukraine, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Germany, among others).

At the moment he focuses on solo concerts that, among other features, are characterized by the improvisation. As a musician, he boasts of many styles: sounds Jazz pieces with their own arrangements, disco music and pop music, both in the band’s formation and as a soloist, traditional and classical music, such as Bach Violin Concerto in A Minor.

He devotes himself to teaching – regularly conducting accordion courses in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands, tutoring private students and writing articles for the harmonika.cz portal.

In 2016, he published two volumes of Études for the accordion and is currently preparing a textbook for accordion focused on improvisation and playing by ear.

It has a special accordion Pigini, with smaller keys and microphones, of course blue!
