As unusual as the combination of accordion and flute might seem to be, Raphael Brunner and Juan Carlos Díaz use their skills to multiply this cast into a collective musical experience.
Since 2014 they perform together as DAS KOLLEKTIV DUO internationally together. Their exciting concert career has already taken them to many places in Europe, Asia and South America.
In their concerts, DAS KOLLEKTIV create a new balance between traditional and modern sounds, establishes connections between different cultures, revives the old and roots the new. Their interpretations are a mix between their own arrangements, folklore to own compositions and Jazz – and make the duo one of the most exciting of its generation.
The Duo has won many competitions of national and international caliber as: Coupe Mondiale, Rising Stars Berlin, Jovenes Interpretes in Colombia and has proven that they master both: the craft and the flair for new colors, dynamics and details. Stations like the Philharmonic Luxembourg, Radialsystem Berlin, Wiener Musikverein and many festivals over the world, has shown that DAS KOLLEKTIV has placed itself among the best innovative Ensembles in a wide variety of music styles.
