Davide Vendramin performed during important festivals and with musical institutions, such as Stadttheater in Berne, Internationale Ferienkurse für Neue Musik in Darmstadt, Ferrara Musica, Festival of Lucerne, HEMU of Lausanne, Auditorium in Milan, Staatstheater am gärtnerplatz in Munich, Teatro Regio in Parma, Amici della Musica in Pistoia and Trapani, National Academy of Santa Cecilia in Rome, MiTo/Settembre Musica and Rai NuovaMusica in Turin, Biennale Musica in Venice, Wettinger Kammerkonzerte, FBW in Wien, Music and Theatre Academy in Vilnius. As a soloist he played with the Orchestra Sinfonica Giuseppe Verdi in Milan, the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della Rai in Turin and the Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome performing, first premiere in Italy, works for accordion and orchestra by Salvatore Sciarrino (Storie di altre storie) and Sofia Gubajdulina (Under the Sign of Scorpio)
With the bandoneon, always accompanied by the Orchestra Sinfonica Giuseppe Verdi in Milan, has performed the Tres Tangos and Doble Concierto “Hommage à Liége” by Astor Piazzolla, the Misa Tango for soli, bandoneon, choir and orchestra by Luis Bacalov conducted by the composer himself. He recorded the world premiere Tango, by the Latvian composer Artur Maskats.
Furthermore he collaborated with the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, the Berner Symphonie Orchestre, the Orchestra della Svizzera italiana in Lugano, Neue Vocalsolisten Stuttgart, the Haydn Orchestra of Bolzano and Trento, I Pomeriggi Musicali and Divertimento Ensemble in Milan, the Orchestra del Teatro La Fenice in Venice, the Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto, the Orchestra Arturo Toscanini in Parma, the Orchestra del Teatro Comunale in Bologna, Orchestra della Toscana and with conductors such as Claudio Abbado, Marco Angius, Stefan Asbury, Filippo Maria Bressan, Timothy Brock, Oleg Caetani, Riccardo Chailly, William Eddins, Olari Elts, Beat Furrer, Daniele Gatti, Pablo González, Vinko Globokar, Francesco Lanzillotta, Antonello Manacorda, Michele Mariotti, Wayne Marshall, Ingo Metzmacher, Andrea Pestalozza, Luca Pfaff, Maxim Rysanov, Jonathan Webb just to mention a few.
With the Orchestra Sinfonica Giuseppe Verdi in Milan and Giuseppe Grazioli as conductor and the Orchestra della Svizzera italiana in Lugano and Dennis Russell Davies as conductor, he recorded the complete orchestral works by Nino Rota for DECCA and Chemins V by Luciano Berio for ECM.
Expert for Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana in Lugano, is teaching accordion in the Conservatory in Vicenza.
