Michele Bianco, graduated in Accordion with top marks, at the Conservatory of Lecce, with Maestro Germano Scurti.
He obtained international successes in both solo and chamber music fields: 1st Absolute Prize at the “41st Edition PIF Città di Castelfidardo” International competition in the chamber music category, 1st Price “74th Coupe World of the accordion” with the trio Sirius Accordion Trio, “10th Edition of “Concurso Internacional de Música de Música de Cámara Anton Garcia Abril” (Spain), 1st Absolute Prize at the XXIV edition of the Pietro Argento International music competition (Puglia-Italy), 1st Prize at the National competition for music groups “Alberto Burri” chamber Città di Castello (Umbria-Italy), 1st Prize at the Marcello Pontillo International Musical Interpretation Competition (Tuscany-Italy), 1st Prize at the Trophée Mondial De L’Accordéon 2022 in the chamber Music section, 1st Prize at the “Accordion Star International Competition 2021”, 1st Prize international competition for classical accordion “ACCORDÈONS-NOUS” (Belgium), 2nd in the Senior Classic category at the “74th Coupe World of the accordion”, winner of the XII edition of the National Arts Prize in solo accordion at the “L. D’Annunzio” of Pescara – Italy, 3rd Prize in the Prize category at the “47th PIF Città di Castelfidardo” 2022.
He performs in renowned festivals such as: Festival Contemporary Accordion held at the “S. Cecilia” in Rome (RM), “Muzeul Municipiului” in Bucharest, Fadiesis Accordion Festival held in Matera, the “Composers+” Festival in Lithuania, “Ascoli Piceno Festival”, “Balkan Contemporary Music Festival” in Vlore (Albania), “Gioie Musicali” Festival in Asolo (television French program), 48th concert season in Messina (Sicily), 30th edition of the Accordion Festival held in Kragujevac, Serbia.
In 2019 he recorded the album “Gogol” with the accordion trio “Lecce Accordion Project”, dedicated to the specific Bayan literature music.
In 2021 he published his first solo album for classical accordion bayan “Silhouetten”.
In 2022 he published volume II “Technique for Accordion” with Maestro Germano Scurti for the refinement of technical qualities, dedicated to arpeggios study.
With his the CD “Silhouetten” was awarded by “Promozione Arte association” with the prize “Orpheus Prize 2022” for the best Classical Music accordion
He is currently engaged in an intense concert activity as a soloist and with the accordion trio Sirius Accordion Trio.
