Penny Sanborn, from Calgary, Alberta, Canada is an accordionist and classical music teacher, whose musical performances and lessons feature extensive experience. Penny performs as a soloist, with chamber music ensembles, and with orchestra. She teaches accordion for various levels that aim at artistic and musical growth.
At the University of Calgary she obtained her Bachelor of Music degree with honors, both in Composition and Performance, and is currently pursuing a Master of Music degree in “Classical Concert Accordion”, at the University of Calgary’s “School of Creative and Performing Arts”. She continues her studies with the distinguished accordionist Antonio Peruch.
Her credits include the famous Luciano Pavarotti, Itzhak Perlman, Renée Fleming, the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra and boasts appearances in Canada, Dubai and Europe.
